Since Silk plaster is a DIY material, we frequently get questions on how to correctly put it up, based on the wall, the texture of the liquid wallpaper, available tools, etc. However, from time to time we also get questions on how to remove it.
What would be the reasons to do so? Simple. One of the main benefits of Silk plaster liquid wallpaper is that you can use it for fragmentary repair. For example, you have a house full of creative children and one day a drawing gets done on your favourite wall. Unless you really love the picture, there's an easy way to get rid of it!
First, you take some water and generously apply it to the area where you want to remove the liquid wallpaper. Let it soak in. Then you take a small trowel and gently scrape it off. Once it's done, let the surface dry and you're ready to reapply the new fragment of the wallpaper!
Another reason to choose liquid wallpaper over other options on the market is the possibility of an easy makeover. If you're an expressive person and like to make changes to your interior from time to time, this is the perfect solution for you. Following the same steps already mentioned in the previous paragraph, you can easily clean off your wall and from there on you have two options: putting on a different tone from the wonderful silk plaster liquid wallpaper selection or, if you'd want to, just paint over it with a simple wall paint. In any case, please, keep in mind that before reapplying new materials to the wall, you need to put primer on it first!
